I am CPR certified. I am also very organized, prompt, and energetic.

Describe your childcare style:

I believe that children respond to a positive example. When a mutual sense of respect and kindness is established I find that children are more likely to behave. Also I believe strongly that a childcare is most effective when both the caretaker and the child are actively engaged in activities whenever possible.

What activities do you like to do with children:

I enjoy active, outdoor activities since they are a good outlet for energetic children. I also enjoy playing their pretend games with them so I can see their imaginations at work. Board games and crafts are activities that can be enjoyed at any age so I am eager to do those activities as well.

Why are you interested in working as a nanny?

I have always had a natural ability to connect with children and I believe that childhood is a vital stage in every person's life and it is important for every family to find someone they can trust to help enhance their children's lives and I have confidence that I am that person.

What qualities are important in a nanny?

Accountability, integrity, honesty, compassion, energy, and patience.

Additional comments:

I am looking to work with children ages 2 and up. I charge at least a $10.00 per hour wage for one child, the wage should be increased when there are more children. I expect 48 hours of notice for any cancellations. I have access to a vehicle during the summer but during the fall that access will be limited.
