I am available full-time during the summer. I am currently in grad school, so my availability changes a little bit each semester. I am currently available all evenings and any time Friday through Monday. I am also available before 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The nanny has the following experience:

I have worked as a nanny for three separate families part-time each for the last four years. I believe my work with different families has taught me to be open and accommodating to different lifestyles and people. Additionally, I worked for my college gallery talking to children about art using an interactive discussion style called the Visual Thinking Skills Method and making art with children in community outreach programs.

I am loving, patient, and consistent. I work to emphasize the positive and always try to bring a cheerful energy with me to work. I am also sensitive to the needs of individual children and their families.

What activities do you like to do with children:

I love making art, taking walks, and cooking with children. I also love field trips to parks, libraries, museums, etc. Additionally, I am always happy to help and encourage children to explore their own interests.

Why are you interested in working as a nanny?

I love watching children grow up and being a part of their lives. I also love the pace involved in working with children, the presence of mind that is required, and the fact that each day spent with a child is unique.

What qualities are important in a nanny?

Patience, compassion, love, an ability to communicate, an understanding of the family's expectations, consistency, reliability, an ability to balance being easy going with being firm.
